I am without doubt a lover of routine. School holidays tend to send me into melt down. Add that various birthdays and easter, I’m so pleased to announce I survived. I may have survived on chocolate, but all the same I made it through alive and so did the kids 😉
We’ve had family break away in the Brecon Beacons, which was lovely. Spent a week without any make-up, hiking boots on (they’re not really hiking boots, but as close as I’ll get to them) trudging through mud and streams looking at waterfalls and lambs. All very cute and damp.
I took a little break from social media as well. Just posting the odd random post, but not spending hours mindlessly scrolling through my phone. After 2 years of posting nearly every single thing I eat on Instagram, I thought maybe everyone else needed a break from my posts as well as myself. Still stuck to some kind of healthy eating though, think its engrained in me now. Since returning from Wales my husband has decided he would like to lose a stone and my little man wants a exciting packed lunches for school. So I’m back to mindlessly scrolling through my phone already looking for inspiration!
Anyway, that was just a little explanation of what I’ve been up to the past couple of weeks. Back to focusing on food in the hope we will have some warm sunshine soon and I can get my milk bottle legs out 🌞
